Have you ever wished to visit Egypt, the land of the pyramids, Cleopatra and Nefertiti? Well, you can do so this week in the heart of Paris.
As of Saturday March 10th to Sunday March 18th, 2018 the cultural melting point hub, known as Musée du quai Branly, presents the “Dans le cercle des hommes du Nil” (In the circle of the men of the Nile).
The museum’s theater hosts ethnic contemporary dances which fuse different styles of arts performed by professional artists from the renowned center of Medhat Fawzy in Egypt.
The wooden stick, which has always been used as a tool in traditional dances since the Pharaonic age, is at the center of the “Dans le cercle des hommes du Nil” show. Used both in solo or group dances, and always following the rhythm of oriental instruments.
So don’t miss out on this 90-minute voyage through sacred times and culture and make sure to book your tickets before March 18 here.
