The latest of the Gucci collections that you must watch and keep your eyes peeled on has to be the Maison’s Jewelry and Watches.
And during Baselworld 2018 we got a closer look at the stylish and fashionable pieces. The entire collection is relatively affordable, Swiss-made and shares the DNA of the Gucci clothes and handbags line. And this is not a surprise as they are all designed by the same creative director Alessandro Michele. Michele‘s aim is to preserve the essence of Gucci throughout all the merchandise, a strategy that has repositioned and elevated the house’s jewelry and watches launched since the 1970s.
The Gucci universe signifies Mediterranean styles and symbols, tri-colored patterns and the brand’s famous bee, all often present in the jewelry line.

The Dionysus model (center): A 23mm watch with two snake heads around an 18-carat carved yellow gold case, encrusted with four tsavorite stones that sparkle in rich green hues. The back of the case is engraved with Gucci’s bee motif.
The Automatic model (right): A 40mm with a yellow gold PVD case and black alligator cuff and another Gucci signature, the kingsnake.
