Sequins, sequins and more sequins that’s what his shows have always been about. And to add an extra imperialism factor, the collection was inspired from the city of St. Petersburg. The colors were more toned down; a hue of red coupled with black, dark green, bronze or gold were quite often present.
And do we still need to mention that Murad transformed delicate embroidery, velvet, chiffon and satin into arabesque Haute couture?
