The Formula One Grand Prix is one of the most thrilling and exciting motorsports events in the world. It is a high-speed, high-stakes race that tests the limits of both man and machine. Once the race starts, the excitement builds as drivers push their cars to the limit, navigating tight turns and straightaways at breakneck speeds. When the checkered flag finally falls and the winner is declared, the excitement reaches a fever pitch. The roar of the crowd and the pure joy and relief on the faces of the winning team are unforgettable moments that capture the essence of what makes the Formula One Grand Prix so exciting.
This year’s edition of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah didn’t lack any of that action and the winner was none other than Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.
“I did enjoy the race to be honest. I enjoyed it a lot, especially at the end, just pushing each other with the lap times knowing that he went a tenth faster, tenth slower, tenth slower, and it was all pretty intense. Then we were told to maintain a certain pace, then I was told again to push then to maintain the pace – so it was just a bit all over the place,” commented the Mexican race winner.
On his challenging start Perez added: “I didn’t get a good launch, something I need to work on with the engineers to make sure we fix that, and Fernando just had a better start, and we lost a position, but I knew that it was not the end of the world – it’s a 50-lap race, it’s a pretty long one, and it’s more important to manage my tyres at the time, don’t get mad and making sure I was able to do my own race.”
