Sweden Island is an artificial island located in the man-made archipelago called The Heart of Europe off the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Heart of Europe is a project that consists of six islands inspired by European countries, including Sweden, Germany, and Switzerland.
Sweden Island is designed to resemble the shape of Sweden and covers an area of approximately 430,000 square feet. The island features luxurious villas, each with its unique design and theme inspired by Swedish culture and architecture. Some of the villas even come with their private beaches, swimming pools, and stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. In addition to the villas, Sweden Island also features a marina, restaurants, cafes, and various recreational activities such as water sports, fishing, and scuba diving. The island is designed to provide an exclusive and luxurious lifestyle for its residents and visitors, and it has been marketed as a destination for high-end tourism and investment.
The project is being developed by Kleindienst Group, a
Dubai-based real estate developer, and is set to be completed in the
coming years. The development will also use sustainable landscaping that
will be pesticide-free and fungicide-free, and all green areas will use
recycled water. The island will be car-free, employs clean energy, and
will offer sustainable water transportation to the guests.
Furnished
by Bentley Homes, Sweden Island’s 10 four-story palaces consist of
7-bedroom waterfront homes, each ground floor has a gym, sauna and snow
room, with a glass-roofed party room on the rooftop. The $27 million
beach palace was among the first properties to sell out on the island.
