Nesrin Sanad is a talented Egyptian model and actor, recognized for her captivating presence and commitment to her craft and personal wellness. AM: Please share details about your background and career with our readers
NS: I have a degree in Fine Arts and had the privilege of growing up in Qatar before relocating to the UAE. My modeling career began at the age of 17, and my enthusiasm for acting developed in my early 20s. For over 13 years, I have been balancing both pursuits.

AM: Having lived in multiple countries, how has this experience impacted your career?
NS: Residing in cosmopolitan cities has undoubtedly helped my career by providing more job opportunities. However, living in smaller countries has brought its own challenges, especially with language barriers. Fortunately, being in Central Europe enables me to travel conveniently to vibrant industry centers, making any logistical difficulties worth it. I always believe that hard work yields rewards.

AM: What do you consider to be the key challenges that aspiring models should be aware of in this industry?
NS: In this industry, it’s important to stay grounded and resilient in the face of pressure. Authenticity is key; always remain true to yourself. Prioritize your mental and physical health, as modeling can be very demanding. Consider rejection as an opportunity for growth rather than a setback, and always maintain a professional attitude. Building a strong support system is essential, along with a willingness to adapt and grow. Finally, believe in your worth, confidence is crucial, but recognizing your value is equally important. Set boundaries and never compromise your principles for the sake of acceptance or advancement. Strive for excellence by working to be the best version of yourself, both personally and professionally.

AM: You've mentioned your interest in acting; when did this passion begin for you?
NS: My passion for acting began in my early 20s when I realized the impact of using emotions to create art and inspire others through performance.

AM: What are some concrete steps you are taking to grow as an actress?
NS: I am dedicated to ongoing training, gaining diverse experiences, learning from accomplished actors, and developing a strong portfolio. Actively seeking representation, auditioning regularly, networking, and prioritizing my well-being are all crucial steps I take to advance in this field.

AM: Do you believe that being identified as a model might pose a challenge?
NS: It can definitely be a double-edged sword. While the label may bring challenges due to preconceived notions, it can also serve as a beneficial entry point. Being a model often puts you in situations where you can establish valuable connections within the industry. These personal interactions allow your talent to stand out beyond just images, leaving a lasting impact.

AM: You’ve also established yourself as an influencer with a considerable following on Instagram; how did that journey begin?
NS: My journey as an influencer started naturally by sharing my travel experiences and daily life. I didn't originally intend to become one, but I'm thankful that others find my journey relatable, and I hope it inspires them in a positive way.

AM: What do you consider to be the key message you convey to your followers through your social media platforms?
NS: I aim to communicate a message of authenticity, creativity, and empowerment. I want my followers to realize that they can chase their dreams while staying true to themselves. Being genuine is what truly counts in both personal and professional realms.

AM: As a fashionable individual, how would you characterize your fashion style?
NS: My fashion style reflects femininity, chicness, and timeless elegance. I’m drawn to solid colors such as black, white, nude, gray, and soft pastels, often accented by a single bold color or sheer fabrics. While I appreciate a variety of brands, I have a particular admiration for the craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, and Gucci. I prefer understated elegance and subtle designs over flashy logos. Moreover, I am inspired by couture from Arab designers, who present unique perspectives that beautifully celebrate the female form, much like those showcased in our cover story today.

AM: Can you share some details about your beauty routine, including aspects like health, fitness, skincare products, and so on?
NS: I recently adopted a vegan lifestyle, which has greatly improved my well-being. Although I occasionally enjoy fish because of my love for seafood—making my diet more pescatarian than strictly vegan—I’m working on limiting that to once a month. I don’t smoke or drink, and I prioritize getting at least seven hours of quality sleep each night. My daily routine includes light exercise and face yoga, paired with a simple yet effective skincare regimen. In the morning, I apply SPF, and at night, I use retinol and moisturizer. I also cleanse my face with a gentle creamy formula that thoroughly removes SPF and makeup before bedtime. My diet is rich in fruits, and I stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water and fresh orange juice. Additionally, I visit my esthetician for maintenance treatments twice a year.

AM: Lastly, what upcoming projects do you have planned for 2025?
NS: I have some thrilling projects coming up, including a collaboration with a major network and an intriguing TV show. I will also be relocating for a while to a country that I believe will provide excellent opportunities for my acting career. Although I can't reveal all the details just yet, I am eagerly looking forward to what the future brings!
